Yesterday is ‘Respect for Aged Day’ and tomorrow is ‘Autumnal Equinox Day’. Today is not National Holiday in Japan however if a day is sandwiched middle of national holidays, the day will be national holiday. Therefore 2015 this year, Japanese people have 5 days holiday. We call its silver week. It was happening 6 years ago and this long holiday will come back again 11 years later – year of 2026!
