Japanese Winter Dish – Nabe

There are many restaurants in Japan that specialize in the various Nabe Style. However Nabe is the best home cooked dish. Having people over for nabe is a communal experience. You all work together and cook the food at the table. Nabe is the hot pot soup. There are so many soup stock you can choose and put ingredients with your Hot Pot theme. There are lightly flavored stock, strong flavored stock like Miso or Soy Sauce and Tomato based or Curry Based stock. Japanese people love to eat them during winter season – makes us warm and we can enjoy winter vegetables.

Yokohama Red Brick had the event its called ‘Nabe-goya’. You can enjoy many different Nabe. You can choose it from the Menu or you can customize to chose the stock and ingredients!
