February 11th is National Foundation Day in Japan – We don’t have independence day. Enthronement of the first emperor of Japan is recorded to have been in 660 BC. The revision states, “National Foundation Day is designated by a government ordinance to reflect on the establishment of the nation and nourish a love for the country.
