There is a photography contest going on in Yokosuka. Submissions are being accepted until Dec. 15. All submissions must be made online at this webpage, and there are screenshots below with information on how to submit them. Before that, however, there are some restrictions and other important rules that you should read. They are in bullet points, because that is easier for everyone.
- Each person is allowed to submit 5 different photographs.
- There are three categories for submissions: Yokosuka Night Scenery, Yokosuka Tourism (Dobuita Street, Yokosuka food, the view from the water, etc.), and Uniquely Yokosuka (hills, stairs, tunnels, crop harvesting, etc.)
- Each photo must be smaller than 500KB. If you win, a larger version will be requested via CDR.
- Submissions must be JPEG format.
- Photos must have been taken between 4/1/2014 and 12/15/2015.
- Photos must have not been previously published or won any other contests.
- The submitter of the photograph must be the photographer.
- The city reserves the right to use any of the winning images in its publications or online for 3 years.
- Winners will be notified by email in the first half of February 2015.
- If you have trouble uploading multiple pictures, try doing them one at a time.
There will be 10 winners with each one getting one of the following. It is obvious that everyone will be aiming for the canned goods prize packs, but not everyone can get those top prizes. Someone will have to settle for the $400 camera or the $300 in cash.
